Allium Bio

Allium Bio is a foodtech startup based in Singapore, creating better ingredients, for better products, for people and the planet.

Founded in 2022, the young startup has developed a novel technology that enables them to create high-value functional ingredients. Using their novel co-culture system, they grow strains of microalgae and mycelium together, leveraging unique interactions between the species to improve protein yield and total biomass at a fraction of the regular cost of production.Their vision is to use this technology to create a new generation of food ingredients that can be customized to deliver higher nutritional value, and more functional benefits, at an appealing price point for food manufacturers, all in a more environmentally sustainable way.
