Since 2008, he worked at Mitsui, one of the largest Japanese trading house, gaining extensive experience in Sales & Marketing of salmon and other seafood. In 2015, he met the founders of FRD Japan Co., a RAS* provider engaged in the design and development of land-based aquaculture systems. There, he proposed the launch of Rainbow Trout farming using their own technology and facilitated an investment from Mitsui into FRD Japan. He later joined FRD himself and, as CEO, has been leading the industrialization of land-based salmon farming.
