Richard is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Private Capital practice, with over 25 years of international strategy experience, spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia
Richard has led numerous strategy, value creation and diligence assignments, working for corporates, governments and financial investors, with a particular focus on the food and ag space
Work includes leading Food Security Strategies for 3 different governments; diligence and strategy work across sectors such as irrigation, palm oil, honey, flower growers, RAS salmon farms, meat rendering and machinery, livestock tagging, indoor vertical farms, restaurant chains; coffee brands etc.
For the last 6 years, Richard has worked with Temasek and Rabobank on the ‘Asia Food Challenge’ report, a bi-annual report on the future of food and agriculture production across Asia, supported by the greater use of technology and investment
