Neelamani MuthuKumar
Neelamani Muthukumar (Muthu) is Group Chief Operating Officer of Olam Agri, where he oversees the company’s global operations and supports the execution of its strategic priorities. Having joined Olam Group, the former parent company of Olam Agri, in 1997, he brings nearly three decades of experience across finance, business transformation and operations.
Over the course of his career, Muthu has held a range of senior leadership roles, spanning finance, corporate affairs and shared services, as well as regional and global responsibilities. He has led major transformation initiatives at Olam Group and played a key role in strengthening the company’s operational and financial capabilities.
Muthu served as Group Chief Financial Officer of Olam Group from February 2016 to May 2026, overseeing the Group’s finance function. He was concurrently appointed CEO of Operations at Olam Agri in 2022 and became its Group Chief Operating Officer in March 2025.
Prior to joining Olam Group, Muthu was a Management Accountant with Fuller India Limited, a subsidiary of the F.L. Smidth Group.
Muthu holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Madras and is an Associate Member (ACMA) of The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He also completed the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
