Naweed Naqvi is a microbiology/biotechnology expert with significant experience in harnessing microbiomes for crop improvement and climate mitigation. Naweed obtained his PhD from the M.S. University of Baroda (India) and the International Rice Research Institute (Philippines). Currently, he is appointed as the prestigious Distinguished TLL Investigator at the Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (Singapore), and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, and as a knowledge partner for WEF’s First Movers Coalition for Food (Rice).
