Megumi is President of the Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture (JACA). JACA is an industrial group that focuses on policy-making in the cellular agriculture field with 50+ member companies. JACA communicates with ministries, politicians, consumer organizations, and various companies and works as the 'Cellular Agriculture Working Team' of the Food-Tech Public-Private Council under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. Megumi is one of the advisors of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry's strategy to promote the bio-manufacturing industry in Japan.
