Mark Piper is CEO for the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science, a Government owned public research organisation bringing together the skills and experience of more than 2,300 employees driving research and technology to support enduring economic growth and resilience, a healthy environment and beneficial social outcomes.
Prior to this Mark was CEO of Plant & Food Research and prior to that he spent 30 years at Fonterra Cooperative Group, including 8 years overseas in Japan and the USA, finishing as Director Research & Development, Category Marketing & Strategy.
