Prior to Arborea, he spent over 30 years in senior leadership roles within major multinationals leading teams that commercialised food ingredient technology. Arborea has developed revolutionary technology to capture and convert carbon dioxide into food, feed, nutrition and cosmetic ingredients at scale without needing any fertile land. Kaly is particularly interested in science and technology innovations in health and sustainability. He is married and lives with his wife in York, UK
