Farshad Shishehchian
Dr. Farshad Shishehchian is the CEO and founder of Blue Aqua International, a Singapore-based aquaculture group operating in 14 countries. With over 30 years of global experience, he is the inventor of the patented Mixotrophic™ System. Blue Aqua offers specialty products and services, runs a super-intensive shrimp farm, hatchery, and breeding center, and will soon launch a trout farm and feed mill in Singapore. Dr. Farshad also founded the Asian Aquaculture Network (AAN) and served as President of the World Aquaculture Society (Asia Pacific Chapter). He is a board member of the Aquaculture Engineering Society and a recipient of the 2021 Global Aquaculture Industry Award. A Kellogg School of Management graduate, he is a frequent speaker at global aquaculture events, championing sustainable and innovative practices.
