Eunmi is the head of the center of the Medical Convergence Fiber Center (MCTC, a technology research center specializing in the bio field, which is a part of an industrial promotion institution under the local government, Gyeongbuk Techno Park(GBTP). MCTC is reliable testing institution in the fields of chemistry, biology, and physics; certified by the KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) in the same position as ILAC(International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperative), and At the same time, our center is a testing institution designated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of Korea certifying medical products. Recently, we started research on cultured meat through the Regulatory Free Special Zone in Korea, especially the establishment of cell bank that Ensuring tissue guarantee on safe, ethical, and commercially valuable. In addition, we are planning various projects with the aim to promote industrial and establish regulations and guidance on novel food as cultured meat in Korea.
