President Asia, FRIESLANDCAMPINA

Corine Tap has over 25 years of leadership experience across Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Middle East. Since November 2022, she has served as President, Asia, of FrieslandCampina, where she leads efforts to deliver affordable, nutritious dairy products to millions while driving sustainable growth in one of the company’s most dynamic regions.
Before joining FrieslandCampina, Corine held key leadership roles at Unilever and Danone, including President, AMEA, at Danone, where she was a member of the company’s Executive Committee. Throughout her career, she has been at the forefront of business transformation, combining innovation, operational excellence and sustainability to create lasting impact.


A passionate advocate for sustainability, Corine has championed initiatives in the circular economy and plastic waste management. She serves as an advisor at Circulate Capital, an impact investment fund focused on advancing solutions for plastic pollution and climate change. She also works closely with environmental entrepreneurs and changemakers to amplify their impact through partnerships with global organisations.


Corine’s leadership in sustainability was recognised in 2017 when she was named “Best Green CEO” at the Social Business Innovation Award. Under her guidance, FrieslandCampina has made significant strides in tackling the triple burden of malnutrition in Asia through fortified dairy products, school milk programs and public-private partnerships, alongside advancing local sourcing, circular packaging and climate-neutral production goals.


Corine holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Amsterdam University and has lived in Asia for more than 25 years. A mother of four, she balances her professional commitments with her passions as a competing equestrian, runner and scuba diver, all of which reflect her belief in living a healthy and active life.
