Cherrie May Ferrer is the Owner and CEO of CHER. Cacao Products Manufacturing, a youth-led Philippine enterprise transforming locally sourced cacao into premium high-value products. An Awardee of the Department of Agriculture’s Young Farmers Challenge, she has positioned CHER. among the region’s emerging youth-led cacao enterprises. She established the CHER. Chocolates Cacao Hub, a pioneering dedicated cacao and chocolate destination in the region, integrating retail, production, education, and experiential tourism. Under her leadership, the company has developed a strong e-commerce presence, nationwide shipping, and an expanding network of partner outlets and distribution channels. Ferrer also represented the Negros Island Region at Republic Polytechnic Singapore, where her enterprise earned First Runner-Up at the final business pitch. Her work advances farmer opportunities, youth entrepreneurship, and the competitiveness of Philippine cacao.
