Chen is a member of Aqua-Spark’s Investment Management team and serves as board representative for Hatch Blue, Swedish Algae Factory, Ocean Fresco, Wanda Fish, and Umami Bioworks. Prior to joining Aqua-Spark, she co-founded an impact investment firm. Her earlier experience includes roles in country and credit risk at JPMorgan, equity research at CICC, and fixed income research at Morgan Stanley. She is also pursuing a part-time PhD in regenerative agriculture governance. Chen holds an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and is a CFA Charter holder.
