Ben Scales is Co-Founder and CEO of KiwiFibre, a New Zealand company that makes advanced natural-fibre reinforcement materials for high-performance manufacturing. KiwiFibre partners with farmers and landowners to grow harakeke, a native plant, on low-production land, giving them new returns per hectare while helping restore biodiversity, soil health and waterways. An industrial designer, Ben co-founded KiwiFibre in 2020 with William Murrell. He was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and a finalist for New Zealand Innovator of the Year.
