Bastavee Barooah

Bastavee is the Head of the Food & Agribusiness Industry (“F&A”) within the Institutional Banking Group in DBS Bank. She oversees the global portfolio of corporates operating in the food, beverages and agribusiness sector and drives the F&A strategy for the Bank.
She joined DBS Bank in 2007 and held various corporate banking roles in Singapore and India, including senior roles in Commodities and Food & Agribusiness Industry teams. Prior to joining DBS Bank, Bastavee served as Regional Head of Rural, Microbanking & Agribusiness Group in ICICI Bank Ltd.
Bastavee holds a Master's degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
