Alexander Otten
Alexander Otten is Managing Director, Global Trade Asia, at ADM. Based in Singapore, he leads a regional team responsible for agricultural commodity trading and distribution operations across Asia, covering a broad portfolio ranging from grains such as wheat and corn to vegetable oils and proteins.
Since joining ADM in 2011, Alexander has held senior commercial positions in Europe and the United States, overseeing physical processing and trading businesses across multiple geographies.
Alexander holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business & Management from Arnhem Business School in the Netherlands, a Master’s in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, and an MBA from Indiana University. He has also served as a guest lecturer on Commodity Markets at Singapore’s Nanyang Technical University (NTU).
