Since joining Beyond Next Ventures in 2019, Akito has focused on Agri-FoodTech, biomanufacturing, and climate tech investments. Appointed Partner in 2022, he also leads open innovation initiatives and founded the TECHNIUM Global Conference. He drives industry-government collaborations, including the MAFF SBIR program, and serves as Representative Director of Next Prime Food. Previously, he worked at Marubeni Corporation, managing agricultural value chains. He holds a degree in Biosciences and Informatics from Keio University.
