Asia-Pacific Agri-Food 2026 to spotlight the innovators, technologies and ideas reshaping food and agriculture across Asia
The Asia-Pacific Agri-Food Summit will return to Singapore from 27–29 October 2026 at Suntec Convention Centre, bringing together hundreds of agri-food leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers and innovators from across the region and beyond to examine the forces reshaping food and agriculture.
As the anchor event of Singapore International Agri-Food Week, the Summit will bring together more than 800 attendees, 200 speakers and representatives from 36 countries, with more than 60 exhibitors expected to take part.
This year’s programme will explore the technologies, investment models and partnerships shaping the next phase of agri-food transformation, from AI-first R&D and physical AI in agriculture to biomanufacturing, biologicals, smarter traceability, regenerative agriculture, genetics and the future of nutrition.
The Innovation Stage returns for its second year
A key feature of the 2026 programme will be the Innovation Stage, returning for its second year with a programme designed to connect breakthrough ideas with capital and commercial opportunity.
Across three days, early-stage innovators, scale-ups, investors and industry leaders will take the stage through start-up pitches, company case studies, innovation showcases, briefings and debates.
The programme will spotlight technologies and business models tackling some of the industry's most pressing challenges, while creating opportunities for founders to connect directly with potential investors, customers and strategic partners.
A new generation of innovators takes the stage
The Summit’s Start-Up Arena will showcase a new cohort of emerging agri-food technology companies, giving selected founders the opportunity to present their businesses directly to investors, corporates and industry leaders.
Among the featured innovators this year are DATAYOO, Digitaste, PFx Biotech and GideonLab, representing the breadth of technologies emerging across agricultural intelligence, food innovation and advanced biotechnology.
The Start-Up Arena will complement targeted 1-1 meetings and structured networking, designed to help founders move from visibility and introductions towards commercial conversations and partnerships.
Spotlighting Japanese innovation
The Innovation Stage will also feature a dedicated MAFF Japan Innovation Showcase, bringing a new generation of Japanese innovators to an international audience.
The showcase will feature companies including BOON INC., DIGZYME INC., FERMELANTA, NOMY JAPAN, PTBIO INC, QUANTUM FLOWERS & FOODS, STROUT INC., SAGRI CO., STROUT INC., SUNSHIKI, TOWING and TOYMEDICAL, highlighting emerging Japanese technologies and business models across the agri-food landscape.
The showcase will provide a platform for these companies to connect with international investors, corporates and potential partners looking to discover new technologies coming out of Japan.
Young Filipino entrepreneurs turn local resources into new opportunities
The programme will also shine a light on the next generation of Filipino entrepreneurs through the Young Farmers Challenge pitching showcase, hosted by the Philippines Department of Agriculture.
L'Reinvente, CHER Cacao, Bluecrust, JC Aelius and Y'Nut will present businesses built around local agricultural resources, new products and opportunities for more resilient food systems.
The showcase reflects a broader focus of this year's programme: identifying entrepreneurs and technologies emerging from across Asia and connecting them with the international networks needed to scale.
The Yield Lab Asia Pacific brings emerging technologies to the stage
The Innovation Stage will further feature a showcase from The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, bringing five emerging companies to the Summit to explore technologies addressing challenges across food and agriculture.
The participating companies Aptimmune Biologics, DNA Harvest Partners, Pyrone, Biotic and Earthsense span areas including animal health, crop genetics, biologicals, sustainable materials and data-driven agricultural technologies.
Together, the showcases demonstrate the increasingly broad innovation landscape emerging across the region and the growing role of technology, entrepreneurship and investment in building more resilient food and agricultural systems.
